This page is dedicated to the memory of Geoffrey Keller. Geoffrey's parents, Kathleen and Curt Keller, other family members, and his friends have gone above and beyond in their efforts to raise awareness for MH.

Geoffrey Warren Keller, a malignant hyperthermia (MH) susceptible, passed away on September 9, 2012. Geoff, age 26, will be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother, and friend. His family and friends have come together to memorialize Geoff, raise awareness about MH, and raise funds to benefit the MHAUS mission to promote the optimum care and scientific understanding of MH and related disorders.

Geoffrey Keller Memorial Open Water Swim on 06/04/2016


The Annual Geoffrey Keller Memorial Open Water Swim was held on 06/06/2015 at the Lincoln Trail State Park in Marshall Illinois on June 4th, 2016. There were a total of 43 swimmers who attended this event. The swim is in honor of the late son of Kathy and Curt Keller to raise funds to research better ways of managing Malignant Hyperthermia during surgery, to improve methods of detecting MH, and for MH awareness. Geoffrey Keller Memorial Open Water Swim on 06/06/2015

There were a total of 51 swimmers who attended this event. The swim is in honor of the late son of Kathy and Curt Keller to raise funds to research better ways of managing Malignant Hyperthermia during surgery, to improve methods of detecting MH, and for MH awareness. Geoff Keller MH Group Organ Concert Feb 8, 2015

All five of the organists are professionals with advanced organ degrees. James Marck drove down from about 3 hours away for the concert. Sherry Seckler has played in several very large cathedrals in several countries in Europe. Dr. John Orfe is a professor at Bradley Univeristy. Walter Stout the church organist at the Keller family's church and previously did a concert for the Keller's in 2013. All were happy to do the concert and want to do it again next year. Kathleen Keller (Geoff's mom) took the pictures and told them all about Geoffrey and his awake episode. They were so touched.

Annual Geoffrey Keller Memorial Open Water Swim on June 21, 2014 

Swim held in honor of the late son of Curt and Kathy Keller to raise funds to research better ways of managing Malignant Hyperthermia during surgery, to improve methods of detecting MH, and for MH awareness. Presented by Marshall, IL, the Geoff Keller Group of MHAUS, and Illinois Department of Natural Resources at Lincoln Trail Lake, Lincoln Trail State Park 16985 E. 1350th Road, Marshall, Il 62441 Sanctioned by Illinois Masters Swimming Association (ILMSA) for United States Masters Swimming (USMS), Inc. USMS Sanction Number: 214-W002.
